Mom Blogger Monday: Cecily Rose Lewis
Cecily Rose Lewis is an L.A. mommy blogger who’s also an actor, a host, an online and video content creator and she heads a production company called Sirronrose, with her husband.
She has an 8-year old son named Blake and when she returned to her blog, HollyMomtress, after taking a break earlier this year, she announced to her readers that Blake is going to be a big brother. She’s expecting a baby girl in September!
Cecily is a graduate of the prestigious Juilliard School, a dance, drama and music conservatory in New York City ranked as one of the world’s best institutions for Performing Arts.
She spent time backpacking through Europe and eventually decided to continue her travel adventure by relocating to Los Angeles from Florida in 2005.
The North Hollywood mommy once worked as a celebrity executive assistant. At that time, her fellow actor friends were blogging and would often invite her to join them at influencer events.
“I had so much fun tagging along with them…, I thought I’d give it a try,” she says.
As part of her blog, Cecily often interviews fellow moms in the industry and highlights their work/life balance.
You rock, mama! Your fun and positive personality shines through and we can’t wait to meet Baby Lewis in September!
What inspired you to become a blogger?
My friends who were acting at the time, blogged while they were pregnant to stay active and busy and I had so much fun tagging along with them to events, I thought I’d give it a try.
What is your proudest Mommy Blogger Moment?
My proudest mommy blogger moments are always when I get a chance to interview other Hollymomtresses who are in the industry. There is power and validation in seeing other moms who are successful in the entertainment industry and accomplishing their goals one day at a time.
Most people feel like life is over or has to dramatically change after having children, but I am inspired every day by actors, producers, editors, directors, hosts who are all moms and balancing the world of "Hollymomtressness". My interviews are on my blog and my Youtube channel.
